Wedding Stories

Magnolia Bridge

"Flowers were an important part of our wedding. As transplants to NOLA we wanted our family and friends, many who had never been to New Orleans before, to experience the lushness and beauty of New Orleans. Jeanette Bell was not only a delight to work with, but also allowed us to have our vision come to fruition."

"The stunning arrangements for the bridges of Magnolia for Magnolia Bridge and the beautiful bouquet evoked the exact kind of "feel" that we were going for. We wanted flowers to represent us, NOLA, and local businesses."
Bouquet

The bride had a unique selection of what flowers were in full bloom on her wedding day to make the bouquet stand out.

Bridge Crossings

Decorating the bridge with flowers and ribbons created a rustic elegant feel to the ceremony.

Local Elements

Magnolia leaves provide the southern touch to the bridge decorations.

Edible decorations

Fresh pesticide free edible flowers and herbs decorate this classic white cake.

"We tried actively to have as local of a wedding as possible and when I found Jeanette, I was so excited to work with her. Every detail, like the adding of culinary herbs to the bouquet and live herbs in gold rimmed planters, reflected my husband and I's vision of a garden party and our love for NOLA and the earth. Our wedding was a sweet smelling delight and people where fighting over who got to take some of Jeanette's beautiful flowers home with her. I cannot speak more highly of my experience with her."
